How to Order

Ordering from Peninsula Sourdough is simple and flexible. The website is always open, but bread is baked in small batches and may sell out. Orders for the week close on Thursday at 9am (or earlier if we sell out), so get in early to avoid missing out.

I bake and deliver on Fridays and Saturdays. When ordering, you’ll be able to choose which day you’d like your bread delivered by selecting the product with that day in the name (e.g. “Friday - Seasoned Bagels" or “Saturday - White Sourdough Loaf”). Both sourdough loaves and bagels are available on each delivery day — simply use the dropdown menu to select the quantity you’d like.

All orders are for local delivery only (no pickup option at this time). Delivery is available to suburbs within a 15km radius of Rosebud for a flat rate of $8. Your delivery will arrive between 8am - 10am on the morning of your delivery day.

To help make delivery smooth, please include any helpful notes (like gate codes or safe drop locations) in the ‘Special instructions’ box on the cart page before checking out.

Welcome to Peninsula Sourdough

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Amber, a mum of three and a small-batch sourdough baker living on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. I bake everything by hand from my home kitchen in McCrae — just a few steps away from the chaos of family life and the salty breeze of the ocean. 

What started as a personal passion quickly became something more — thanks to a wonderful community of friends, neighbours, and loyal bread-lovers who kept coming back for more.

At Peninsula Sourdough, everything is made with care, using traditional techniques, simple ingredients, and long fermentation times. There are no shortcuts here — just honest, real bread that’s good for the soul (and the stomach!). I bake to order, with a focus on quality over quantity. Each loaf and each bagel is shaped by hand and made with intention.
